The Host

Meet Renee Gibson.

Renee Gibson was born on the Island, and it was Galveston that eventually called her home. Her three decades in events were built in Dallas, managing experiences for some of the biggest names in Texas: the Dallas Cowboys, FC Dallas, and the major venues and stadiums where the state celebrates.

Her career spans hotel and hospitality leadership, from the Omni to the wider world of Texas meetings and events, before she returned to the Island in 2017 and founded YES YourEventSource. Today, as a Galveston Regional Chamber "Navigator of the Year," Renee has spent years creating experiences, not just events, across the Island. The Crystal brings all of it home to one historic address, hosted the way only a Galvestonian can.
